Tomet Mechanics has been working for many years according to a consolidated, ISO 9001 certified quality system. Multinational firms, which represent the main customers of Tomet Mechanics, certify the validity and consistency of the quality system implemented by Tomet Mechanics, on a yearly basis.
In addition to the operator control equipment during the production phase, Tomet Mechanics boasts the most updated and sophisticated Metrology Lab of all sector’s firms. The precision and tolerance of measuring instruments reaches 0.1 µm.
The current quality control system foresees checking compliance of the pieces with the drawing during the production phase according to the protocol approved by the quality manager, and a sample check for the supporting measurement in the metrology lab.
Tomet Mechanics has embraced the lean enterprise philosophy a few years ago, focusing on a lean organisation, assisted by the collaboration of an influential US firm, operating in the same sector.
